'Notes from the Silence': Join us for a talk by Anna Beer on how and why music composed by women in the past been lost, and how this absence impacts us now.
Anna Beer is a lecturer in Literature and is primarily known for her work as a biographer. Her book 'Sounds and Sweet Airs: the Forgotten Women of Classical Music' (2016) explores the lives and works of female composers.
